BASE METAL WRAP: Copper trimmed its first weekly gain since August amid worry that European economies are slowing down and Germany is heading for recession.

ENERGY WRAP:
West Texas Intermediate extended its slump into a bear market amid speculation that rising global oil supplies will be more than enough to meet slowing demand. London’s Brent traded at the lowest price since December 2010.

PRECIOUS METAL WRAP:
Gold headed for the biggest weekly increase since June as concern that the global economy may be faltering stoked speculation of more stimulus, boosting demand for a store of value. Platinum extended a decline.

GLOBAL EVENTS TO WATCH:
Employment Change, Unemployment Rate, Import Prices m/m, FOMC Member Plosser Speaks, IMF Meetings, G20 Meetings, Federal Budget Balance.
